The team at Jonesbar—one of our snack partners based in New Jersey—made an exciting announcement: they’re bringing back a limited batch of their fantastic Banana Chocolate Chip Bars. We jumped on the news immediately, knowing how much the airfare community loves that flavor.

We’re sharing this limited, first-come, first-serve supply with you.

Last year, we told Jonesbar’s story. While working a corporate job, Taylor Jones came across the book Start Something That Matters by Blake Mycoskie, the founder of Tom’s Shoes. Jones took the book’s message to heart, eventually jumping from the corporate ladder and into the kitchen to experiment with healthy snacks.

Jones’ path resulted in a business that jives with dozens of other partnering companies in the airfare snack marketplace—built on the principles of making #actuallyhealthy options.

“I was surviving off of energy bars while traveling and living an active lifestyle," Taylor said. "I wanted more out of what I was putting in my body so I began making my own."

Taylor started small, making bars in his kitchen and hand-wrapping them in wax paper. Fast forward a few years, and Jonesbar has a thriving business based on the New Jersey shore.

Both Jonesbar flavors—the PB and J and Banana Chocolate Chip—are customer favorites, but the Banana Chocolate Chip is only available for a limited time, so add some to your next order before we run out.
