Save 15% on your first snack order

airfare fam–

You can't say we didn't warn you. The second you asked us to open our newsletter mouths, we're having trouble keeping them shut. 😁

This week's subject: pouches, pouches and more pouches. We have exactly three things to tell you about pouches—including a way for you to save some cash—and then we're outta here. Check out airfare member Matthew E. over there with the perfect pouch model pose.

Pouch thing #1: Send & save

You spoke, we listened.

A number of people have asked us to save them from drowning in pouches. Many airfare customers reuse the same pouch to carry their snacks, and others have enough pouches on hand and don't need more with every shipment.

So, in your October member shipments, we'll be including a prepaid envelope for you to send us back your unwanted pouches. For every pouch in useable condition (no tears, no marks, not dirty, etc.), we will take $1 off your next month

Save pouches, save money, save space, and save the earth. A quadruple win for humanity.

Pouch thing #2: How to stop receiving pouches

Did you know that you can simply check a box in your account and receive only your snacks each month, no pouches included? To do that:

  1. Log into your account at airfarepouch.com/account
  2. Click "edit plan" next to your membership
  3. Check the box that says "Please leave pouches out of my next order"
  4. 💨Poof...snacks only—no pouches—until you change this setting in the future

Pouch thing #3: Our pouches are going plant-based

One of the things we believe in at airfare is taking care of the planet that takes care of us. To do that, we're changing the pouch material from cotton to linen, and not just so they match our outfits in South Beach.

Linen is made from fibers of the flax plant, which is beneficial for a few reasons. For one thing, it's recyclable (and compostable without ink). Second, it can grow in almost any soil. Third, it uses less water. This all makes it more sustainable than cotton. Side note: linen is also stronger, which just makes it all-around cooler. 💪

That's it for this week. We'll see you in 6 days, 23 hours, and 59 minutes....
