Many of our loyal customers know about the sweet, nutty, fruity, chocolatey goodness of the bars from Austin’s Bearded Brothers. We covered the actual brothers that started the Texas-based snack maker here.
Like many great boutique snack companies, Bearded Brothers changes its lineup based on customer tastes, ingredient costs, and other factors. Flavors come and go, like all good things in life.
And that’s exactly what’s happening with the Chocolate Coconut and Toasted Sesame flavors, both beloved options that spent nearly a year in the airfare marketplace. As the old Scottish saying goes, “Out with the old and in with the new.”
We’re excited to introduce three new Bearded flavors today, which are immediately available to add to all snack subscriptions and one-time orders.
Check out the details below, and give these new flavors a try to experience combinations of delicious, unique tastes with nutritious excellence.
As always, we’ll replace any snack you don’t like for free. We have a feeling you won’t need that option in this case ;)
Ginger Peach Bar
This was the first Bearded Brothers bar our team tried way back in the mid-2010s. We were instantly hooked on the #actuallyhealthy, real-food ingredients and the delicious flavor.
We also went crazy for the unique properties of ginger and peach. Eastern cultures have known about their health properties for millennia, and Western science is getting on board. A recent review of research done on ginger confirmed that it can decrease nausea, lower blood pressure, lower inflammation, lower glycemic index, and more. The peach is no slouch either. Besides being undeniably delicious, peach peel and flesh appear to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. All of which makes this groovy flavor…peachy keen.
Raspberry Lemon Bar
Wow, this bar is refreshing. It's definitely one of the top snack options for berry lovers.
We’ve already written about berry health, and raspberries in particular might fight inflammation, lower blood sugar, and even attack cancerous cells. Citrus fruit—particularly lemon—have similar properties.
For health plus taste, this is another double threat snack.
Almond Butter Vanilla Bar
Vanilla gets a bad wrap, but this new bar is delicious. It's the first we’ve seen an almond buttery taste mixed with vanilla, a plant indigenous to Mexico. The vanilla flavor is light here and a good addition to either a midday or evening snack.
As a bonus it seems that vanilla—though understudied—has promising health effects, including on the blood and brain.
