Gopal's began with the unique story of a man inspired to share the spirituality he learned during his travels to India. Stefan Knueppel started in San Diego, CA, making snack bars by hand, and distributing them to local health food stores. His “spiritual snacks” took off, and in 2002 he opened Gopal's Health Foods introducing a new line of organic, raw, and plant-based snacks. Since then, the company has grown and is now nestled in the heart of Texas on 100 acres of prairie land.
